OUR VACATION TO CAPE DISSAPOINTMENT STATE PARK
June 29-July 5, 2007
camped in a fifth wheel for a week.

Sunset on Long Beach

Video of Daddy teaching TJ some tricks with tides.

Mommy with her coffee cup. I made espresso everyday for us. That is the beauty of having a fifth wheel with all the hookups....ahhh eletricity and a working toilet!!!

The boys taking a walk on the beach. They all have their little sticks.

Chelle on the horse named, Sister. I had so much fun but had hard time walking afterwards.

Mykal and TJ on horse getting ready to head out for our 1/2 hour beach ride.

Tim taking pictures of our butts in front of the Cape Dissapointment Light house. There were many, many ship deaths in this area until they put the light house up.

Heading up the trail to the light house...I have my stick to fend off bears and cougars or to poke the kids in the back so I can get a head start running back down the trail. HAHAHAHA.

Mykal and TJ head off the trail for a picture opportunity.

Mykal jumped off table in the picture below so TJ wanted a picture of him jumping off the cooler in the picture above. My kids the super action copy cats.

Mykal jumps....

TJ poses, (not willingly) on the Long Beach Boardwalk.

Out on the jetty, watching waves hit the rocks.

TJ is mad at me because I won't let him climb out any further on the rocks or stand up and jump from rock to rock.

Portrait of a father/son moment.

Digging a hole to china

Getting close to china?

Look TJ FITS in the hole!!

Mykal has the bright idea to bury TJ in the sand. TJ falls for it!!

TJ is buried up to his neck....Mykal is about to get his revenge for all the little bugger things TJ did to him!! HAHAHAHA.

Mykal is teaching TJ how to start a fire while Tim sleeps in the background. What a hard vacation he is having.

Me and the boys pose for posterity in front of Long Beach.

Mykal and TJ just chillin'

Mykal and TJ playing in the sand as the sun begins to set.

TJ checks out the beach at low tide.

First thing TJ does is find a snail and makes it his friend.

TJ writes his name in the sand.

Mykal finally gets his marshmellow toasted just right, (after about 20 tries).

Dad teaches the boys how to make a smore. Graham cracker, chocolate and marsmellow and then ya MASH it like this...

Tim entertains us with after dinner guitar playing.

TIM TEACHES HIMSELF HOW TO PLAY GUITAR:

TJ LOOSES HIS FIRST TOOTH!!!

TJ shows his tooth in his hand...he actually pulled it out himself!
In the fingertips...look at how small!!!
Now for the new smile!!!

Second pose of lost tooth.

A few days later his second tooth was lost. Here is a picture of the second one gone.

FATHERS DAY, JUNE 2007

Daddy opening his father's day present, June 2007

DADDY G. COMES TO TOWN FOR A VISIT:

Daddy G's visit and a picture of all the girls, (minus Barbara because she was LATE!)

RANDOM PICTURE:I was just so proud of these roses, and they were so beautiful I just had to share. Tim brought these to me at work with a beautiful message on the card. My I love you roses....just because. Isn't he SWEET!!!

ELMO FINALLY GIVES OUT so we bought a new truck:

New Truck...haven't named it yet. I picked it off the lot and Tim liked it so here it sits, in our driveway.
Front of truck
Side of truck
OPENED doors. Had to have 4 doors but it is still a compromise getting in and out and having to wait for other people.
IT HAS A CASSETTE PLAYER IN IT!!! Which is going to be ripped out so we can put Elmo's stereo into it and add the amps and subs.
CINCO de MAYO 2007 Progressive Party
We had a progressive Cinco de Mayo party this year with some of our closest friends. We started out at Wellsm's with appetizers and DRINKS, then moved to our house (Harpet's) for main course and DRINKS, and finally ended at Warbuj's for dessert and DRINKS. It was a total blast and I was designated driver so we all got home safe.
Tim and I posing for a rare pic together. I am usually on the other end of the camera.

The gang at our house gathered around the breakfast bar to watch the master bartendar, Tim, at work. Oh, and Wellsm's are showing off the humongous bottle of GREY GOOSE that Tim bought for just this occasion. We have their approval!!

Opening the bottle with finesse...
"You have to measure juuuuussssttttt the right amount" says master bartender, Tim.
"You must also not use CHEAP vodka....it ruins the drink and gives you bad hang overs." NOTE: he would know!!!
CHEERS!!! The gang eating and drinking and having a GREAT time.

MAY 12TH, WINE TASTING WEEKEND (oh and no kid weekend!)

Chandler Winery is just off I-182 and its beautiful! They are still working on the landscaping outside but it is still very impressive. If you look in the window on the left, you might be able to see Tim's relection along with our friend.
This was taken inside the Chandler Winery and Tim and Matt were eye balling the advertised wine behind them.

Here is a pic of some of the gang. L-R: James, Cindi, Bill, and Matt.

This winery had really good wine and this mustard that they made with their wine and it was really good with pretzels.

This is the Desert Wind winery in Prosser. It was close to the end of our wine tasting. It was huge and had a restaurant inside. They were offering cooking lessons so we got information for Mykal but as it turned out, he wasn't able to attend any of the classess due to a broken hand.

The kids going to Grandma's house for the weekend. This was our very first weekend without kids since TJ has been born. The date was May 11th, 2007 and Grandma Razo took them until Sunday. Tim and I had trouble adjusting at first...but then we got used to it and used the weekend to our advantage!!!
TJ feeding the Canadian Goose at Columbia Park in Kennewick
After feeding the ducks we went to the park and TJ posed for me. I dont' know who the woman behind him is but I wish she would have ducked or something.
TJ showing Daddy how to throw rocks into the Columbia River
